Julian Grant
Director/Writer

An award-winning Writer/ Producer/ Director with over 24 feature films to his credit.  His much acclaimed mini-series, “Robocop: Prime Directives” continues to air worldwide with fans including original film creator Paul Verhoeven, director Peter Jackson and many, many more.  Recipient of numerous international film festival and industry accolades, Mr. Grant has made motion pictures for HBO, Lions Gate, ABC Family, The Lifetime Network, The Sci-Fi Network and a host of international and domestic  production partners. Recently relocated to Chicago as a tenure-track professor at Columbia College Chicago, Mr. Grant is the forerunner of the new Chicago-based independent digital cinema movement showcasing indigenous talent and micro-cinema strategies.  Having recently completed his latest feature film, “The Defiled”, Mr. Grant is a published author, accomplished public speaker, gallery showcased fine art photographer and a dedicated film enthusiast.

Boris Wexler
Producer

Born and raised in Paris, France, Boris Wexler moved to the United States when he was 18. He has produced and directed several short films that have screened at juried festivals around the world, and just filmed 40 episodes of the web series Pillow Talks, which are being released throughout 2009. Besides Fall Away, Boris is also in development for Roundabout American, a comedy he wrote and will be directing about a young French man who comes to America and lives a twisted version of the American dream.
Prior to filmmaking, Boris created and managed several businesses ranging from a furniture import operation to an Internet software provider, and has been trading on the stock market for several years.

In addition to being seen on ER, Grant has had numerous lead roles in independent films. He also has extensive stage experience from NYC to L.A. and has written three plays, one of which was produced at EP Theatre in Chicago to great reviews. He has an M.A. in Voice Performance and an M.F.A in Acting, and studied with the renowned Uta Hagen of HB Studios New York as well as the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Grant is also the lead singer of the band Crooked Willow, which cut its first CD this past fall and whose music will be used in Fall Away. Grant is listed with I Actor and Actors Access, and is an exlusive artist with Aria Talent and Ford Models in Chicago.

Martie Marro
Composer/Sound Supervisor

Martie Marro owns Materville Studios and Love Your Website, both chicago based Multi-Media companies. In her tenure as an artistic business woman she has received many awards including an IBM excellence award, a Gay and Lesbian Music Award nomination for Best Video, an OUT Music nomination for Musician of the Year, 5 additional LGBT Recording Academy nominations For Oustanding Soundtrack, and is included on many Film & TV soundtracks, including Francis Ford Coppola's First Wave Television Series, topped the charts at #1 on the world charting system for MP3.com, and gleefully was dubbed "Download Babe of the Day" by Tech TV's Internet Tonight. Other films and television Martie has created sound and music for include Feature Film Hannah Free (2009) Showtime pilot, Dance Floor Battle Scars (2003), The Gendercator (2005), Buttery Top (2009), Maybe (2010), Coup d'etat (2001), Canadian short Tunnel Vision (2002) and Gayco Expose (2000), a comedy. Beginning her long career in post production, Martie worked on sound design of many more films, enjoying the challenge of removing the sound of locusts, trains, rumbling trucks and accidental crew noises. Martie has additionally enjoyed almost a decade of FM Radio Production for commercials, interviews, and musical backbeds.
